Maine Antiques Festival - Access to more than 350 antique dealers in Union, Maine
If you are an antique collector or perhaps just a casual admirer, check out Maine Antiques Festival if you are visiting the area in August. Located about 25 minutes from Rockland, this antique show (the largest in Maine) is held at the Union fairgrounds, just off Route 17 in Union.
Ever since Coastal Promotions, Inc., founded the event in 1981 attention has continued to grow. In fact, more than 350 antique dealers and collectors travel from all over the country and across Canada to peddle their treasures in Union, Maine. Here, you can find almost anything ranging from: art, books, furniture, china, collectibles, advertising and paper items, clothing, coins, glassware, jewelry, pottery, primitives, sports memorabilia, tools, toys, and much more.
Admission is $8 on Saturday and Sunday. However, if you are a true antique collector and want access to the items before most people can set their eyes on them, you can shop on Friday afternoon for a $25 admission fee. For more information, please call 207-221-3108.
